The Tale of the Three Brothers by Anante The Tale of the Three Brothers by Anante

Must. Get. Sleep. :iconheaddeskplz:

EDIT: Sorry, I completely forgot to finish putting in a description for this before I conked out at my desk. Please download it to see its actual size if you'd like! It's not so fuzzy when you download it. :)

I'm glad some comments have picked up the fact that the brothers are modeled after Riddle, Snape and Harry. Dumbledore represents "Death" who I would imagine would make a barmy, codger everyone would underestimate at first. But the younger brother (Harry) would be the wisest and not take Death's offer lightly.

Snape, of course, would be forlorn over a lost love (someone similar to Lily Evans) and ask for the Stone while Riddle would be power hungry and ask for the Elder wand.

Characters belong to J.K. Rowling

Thank you for viewing!

The Tale of the Three Brothers by ~lilette

SPOILER ALERT: For anyone who hasn't read the 7th Potter book or the movies!
"The Tale of the Three Brothers" story comes from Rowling's "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows". It is, also related in a separate book Rowling published called, "Tales of Beetle the Bard", a fun and interesting read.

The suggester says of the deviation, "Amazing concept and execution. You really can't stop staring at this beautiful, detailed scene!" I totally agree. A wonderful interpretation of the how the three brothers would look holding the "Deathly Hallows" given to them by Death! ( Suggested by Minato-Kushina and Featured by WDWParksGal )

Would glasses even be invented at the time of the story? Fantastic picture.

Good catch! I'm a bit rusty on the HP timeline at the moment so I'm hoping the story takes place sometime after the 13th century. ^^;

Oh my goodness! What an awesome piece of art. I love the thought behind the idea as well, using the characters to visually represent the brother, and giving them the hallow they would most seek. I love when stuff actually has thought behind it rather then just 'here's some stuff I drew"

Aww thank you for such a gracious comment. I find it easier to work on tedious drawings (like this 4-person one) when I get really into the concept and idea of it. :love: again, THANK YOU! :heart:
