Art Trade with Ninebark - The Horned Owl

Description

This is my part of an art trade I'm doing with ninebark who requested for me to design an original character based on the lovely horned owl. It was a lot of fun especially since I haven't drawn wings of any sort in a long time.

The clothing is a mesh shirt under an 'unraveled' knit top, leather pants, a feather collar and pair of falconry gloves.

Very cool work! :)
I think the design is quite nice, and the gloves are working well with the owl-theme. Of course the colors you chose are perfect for the theme as well^^
The lighting is pretty cool and makes the picture very interesting, even without a background :)
The only critic I hace are the arms (I think they are a little bit too short) and I think the wings would look more anatomical correct if they were placed just a little bit higher -but that's of course kinda subjective^^

All in all, very nice piece of art! :)
